I'm Dani. I love the color teal, serif fonts and french fries (with gravy). When I am not on the internet, I may be sleeping, watching movies, reading, or I may be out with friends. I like anything witty and pretty. More?

This year, I’ve been very diligent in budgeting my salary since I realized that (1) I do not have a very large amount of salary compared with what my friends earn (2) I must imbibe the value of frugality before it’s too late (3) saving is a sign of maturity.
My principle on money is that, we can’t bring money to heaven. My mom actually laughed when I told her this but what is funnier is that, I won’t be bringing any money because I don’t have it in the first place!
Hence, a pie chart. This pie chart roughly shows how my money is allocated among the various expenses I incur. This, I believe, will help me determine in what expense should I scrimp on and in what expense should I be spending more money with.
Spend more money, whuuut? If you will notice in my pie chart, I spend more money on clothes than with books and food (combined!) and that has to change. This pie chart sort of reveals that I give too much importance on clothes but believe me, I am not vain! I just want to look presentable. Hrhrhrhr
The pie chart is not that reliable, too. Not that I am justifying my priority on clothes, but because the data that I entered to make this pie chart are just approximates of my expenses. Which brings me to this tweet,

If you want to keep track of your expenses, you can download this software. You may get confused with the interface but once you get the hang of it, tracking is a breeze!
Happy saving!
Striking off “Where does my money go?” on my list.
