There was a time in my life when I vowed to buy one new book (read: not-from-Book-Sale new) every payday. However, that plan got sidetracked together with other plans, thanks to my lack of focus in life. HA!

The last new book I bought was Jennifer Egan’s A Visit from the Goon Squad (which I haven’t finished, don’t ask why). It was an impulse buy and it was also my birthday gift to myself for having lived in this world for N years.

Anyway, the photoset above shows the books I would like to buy (and read, of course!) in the near future. I know you couldn’t care less but posting the books here in my blog would actually motivate me to buy these things, IRL.

Also, I have a week off from work and I’m hoping I could finish a book during this period.
