I'm Dani. I love the color teal, serif fonts and french fries (with gravy). When I am not on the internet, I may be sleeping, watching movies, reading, or I may be out with friends. I like anything witty and pretty. More?

You have your mother’s eyes.

I never expected to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on the first day of its screening. I knew I will watch it on the big screen, but never did I think I will see it on the first day.

So imagine my happiness when one of my good friends, Maq of PUPianLifestyle, after some serious coercing, finally gave in and gave us (me and Cess) tickets to the HP7.2 screening.

We met Maq at around 7pm in Cubao.

The screening was at The Block at 7:30.

We almost thought we wouldn’t make it on time.

But we did!

Off to the main purpose of this entry, and that is, to list down the scenes that gave me goosebumps, made me squeal and of course, made me cry: (If you haven’t seen the movie, do not click READ MORE! This post contains spoilers!)

  • Helena Bonham Carter playing Hermoine polyjuiced as Bellatrix
  • Casting of protective charm over Hogwarts
  • Falling apart of the protective charm
  • Professor McGonagall’s “I’ve always wanted to do that spell.”
  • Narcissa’s “Dead.” (Narcissa, u so pretty!)
  • Neville’s speech
  • Neville vs the dumbfounded Death Eaters
  • Neville killing Nagini
  • Neville with the sword of Gryffindor, smiling after having killed Nagini
  • Mrs. Weasley’s “Not my daughter, you bitch!”
  • Voldermort’s “He He He” on the scene of announcing Harry’s ‘death’
  • EVERY. SCENE. WITH. ALAN. RICKMAN. IN. IT. “Always.”
  • especially, “Look at me.”
  • “You have your mother’s eyes.”

There could be more, but these scenes are basically what I remembered the most. On another note, there was this scene that I didn’t like in the movie and that is, Harry talking to the Gray lady. It was so dragging, imho. In my head I was like, just tell Harry where the diadem is, overly emotional lady!

I seriously had goosebumps while typing this entry but it is the kind of goosebumps that I like. I also feel overwhelmed over HP 7.2 gifs here in Tumblr, I can’t help but reblog and spoil those who haven’t seen the movie (sorry!)

If you haven’t seen the movie, what are you doing sitting on your lazy ass in front of the computer? Stand up, take a bath and go to the nearest cinemas. It will all be worth it. :)
