I’m still here.

Hi, dear followers (supposing that you are still active and you actually care. HAHA) I’m sorry I have been neglecting this Tumblr. I have been tied up with things and caught up with feelings (lulz) but hopefully, that is about to change. I am still at a lost on what to do with this blog because if you didn’t know, I have a serious (?) blog over HERE. Right now, I am settling on the thought of making this blog a photo blog, forealz. I just hope I can actually live up to it.

Anyhoo~ Please expect a lot of photos on your dashboard (I’ll be posting in queue, don’t worry), and… I hope we can be online friends.

PPS. I don’t know what I’d do with this blog. A photo blog? A rant blog? Any suggestions? One thing’s for sure is that I do not want to delete this.

For the past four years, well except for 2009, I have been spending my Holy Week in the little province of Marinduque, tagged as the Heart of the Philippines and also, my parent’s hometown.

However, this year I am going to spend my Holy Week here in the city and honestly, this thought somewhat depresses me.

You see, the last time I spent the Holy Week here in the city, I was under depression (no kidding) and I fear that this year, it would feel the same. I have no reason to be depressed, really, but I can’t help but be anxious.

A friend invited me for a Bisita Iglesia (visiting 7 churches) but I am apprehensive because the heat is quite unbearable and I bet a lot of people will be doing Bisita Iglesia too.

Anyways, while I was on my way home from work I was curating a list on what I would do this Holy Week

  • finish the first two seasons of Community
  • iron my clothes (or have our kat do this HEHE)
  • plant a sunflower
  • propagate my succulent plants
  • finish reading Catch Me If You Can
  • Read the Bible

I know it’s too soon but I really hope I get to spend the Holy Week next year in Marinduque. Ayoko ditoooo. :(

Posting this because I want these days remembered

In bullets

  • Met with Cess, Kin, Myk, Maq and Alyssa to see Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story
  • In some parts, I think that Jorge Estregan is actually cute. In most parts, though, I think he is wrong to play a 27-year old Asiong Salonga
  • What I liked most about Manila Kingpin: It is a Pinoy Action film with a story, sans the leather jackets.
  • After the movie, Alyssa went home while the rest of the gang went to the grocery to buy food and drinks for the impromptu barbeque party that was held at our house
  • Had a good talk and good laugh (!)

Highlights

  • Maq checked in at Beijing Capital Airport via Facebook
  • Maq asked the rest of the gang to check in too
  • The rest of us checked in at Beijing Capital Airport
  • Maq “hacked” my account and posted “hay nakatae rin” as a status update
  • Didn’t do any damage control, owned the pranked, like a boss!
  • The next day, checked in at NAIA Terminal 3

What was funny was that, most of our “uncommon” friends, believed that we actually went to China. On our end, we even took the joke seriously by not posting any other updates because “apparently” we are banned from the internet.

Consumerism Christmas

It’s the season of giving once again and to save you from having to guess what I want this Christmas, I am sharing with you my Christmas wishlist.

1. Functional bag. My idea of a functional bag is something that will let me bring my netbook without my bag having to feel too heavy. Right now, I have to wear backpack when going to work just so I can bring my netbook and I do not like wearing backpack with my uniform, so this bag is on top of my list.

2. Running shoes. Because my mom says exercising regularly can help me gain weight (important goal of 2011). Although, I highly doubt that I’d spend a lot for a running shoes because you know, I am not really athletic to begin with.

3. Leather notebook. Was Googling for pretty notebooks when I chanced upon this notebook in Multiply. I have placed an order for this, I just hope its looks as pretty IRL as it looks in the picture (I am buying the smallest one).

4. Film Camera. I have been having a lot of fun shooting in film, more fun than with digital, tbh. I want to have an Action Sampler or any camera with flash (so I can shoot film indoors). I am clueless with the prices of film camera nowadays, I hope they come affordable so I can purchase both.
